It’s the best day of the week for Grow A Garden fans; the announcement of the brand new upcoming update that will completely replace the Fall Market update.
The Fall Market update is my least favorite Grow A Garden update to date, and I stopped doing the Fall Energy part of the update on Monday, so I’ve been hoping we’d get something completely different, and not a third extension of the Fall Market update, and thankfully, we are.
The Grow A Garden Seed Stages Update has been announced, and it looks really interesting and unlike anything we’ve seen before. Keep on reading for some fun spoilers…
Here is the official announcement for the Seed Stages Update, from the Grow A Garden team:
“This update introduces a new feature where certain seeds can evolve through multiple tiers. Plant, harvest, and progress to discover the new stages and what they hold!
Discover and explore the Seed Stages, new rewards, new seeds, a new egg, new features, some QOL, weather, and lots more!“
The entire Fall Market event display is going to be replaced by a brand new Seed Stages event platform in the center of the map, and we’ve seen some spoilers shared by a Discord user doodoo345, and it looks like a pretty cool new update.
Basically, we’re going to be able to “evolve” specific seeds, and they’ll be named “Evo Plants”, and each Evo Plant will have three extra traits:
- Plant Health: The healthier the plant, the better the grow rate.
- Grow Rate: The higher the grow rate, the faster it grows.
- Size Multiplier: The higher the multiplier, the bigger the fruit.
Mutations also have a chance to carry over (just like it does when we’re cooking recipes in our garden)

Feed your plants fruit or food to keep it healthy.
How To Boost Grow Rate In Grow A Garden
Keep your plant healthy, to keep the grow rate high.
How To Boost Size Multiplier In Grow A Garden
Use Gardening related gears like the watering can to increase its size.
As well as being able to evolve certain seeds, we’re going to be getting a brand new egg, and it’s called the Jungle Egg, and the Jungle Egg will be a reward item from completing the Seed Stages Event, and inside the Jungle Egg, there are five new pets.
Inside the Jungle Egg, these are the five brand new pets:
- Tree Frog – 40% chance
- Hummingbird – 30% chance
- Iguana – 24% chance
- Chimpanzee – 5% chance
- Tiger – 1% chance
We are going to have access to a shop, where we can purchase “Tier 1 Seeds” like Evo Pumpkin I, Evo Mushroom I and Evo Beetroot I, but it doesn’t look like we can purchase the egg from the seed shop, so we’ll have to participate in the event, to get a chance to get the egg (kinda how we did the Kitchen Storm update with Chris P).
