Jandel shared a brand new leak on his official TikTok account, of a brand new feature launching on Saturday, as part of the new Grow A Garden Pet Mutations Update.

Grow A Garden announced their brand new Pet Mutations Update launching on Saturday, with the following announcement message:
“Introducing pet mutations! Upgrade your pets to have new variants and buffed stats, some mutations even come with their own unique abilities…
Explore the pet mutation update alongside the expansion of the prehistoric event! New prehistoric quests, crafting recipes, you can now also upgrade the Dino Machine multiple times for better rewards. This update brings all new seeds, pets, epic admin weather, and lots more! 🧬🐾🦖“
So, this new Grow A Garden Pet Mutations update is going to give us new quests to do, new crafting recipes, new seeds, new pets, new admin weather events and we’ll be able to upgrade the DNA Dino machine “for better rewards”, which is all very exciting.
In Jandel’s TikTok leak, you can see that the Pet Egg Shop is being completely changed, and will no longer have the section with the three random Pet Eggs on display.
Raphael will still be running the Pet Eggs Shop, but instead of having a shelf for the eggs, there’s now going to be a Pet Mutations Machine.
What happens is, you’ll give the machine one of your pets, and you’ll have the option for the following:
“This is a machine you can put your level 100 pet into and get unique mutations, with passives, buffs and cosmetics… and don’t worry before you ask, we are ADDING craftable and buyable (gear shop) xp boosts so that you can get your pet to level 100 😛”
So, you have to have an age 100 pet, and you can input your age 100 pet into the machine, and you’ll be able to get unique mutations, passives, buffs and cosmetics.
The idea of getting your pet to age 100 is kinda scary, as it takes SO long to age your pets, even when you use pets like the Blood Owl or Night Owl, to try and age your pet as quick as possible.
However, we’ll be able to “craft” and “buy” XP boosts, so we can get our pets to age 100.
Not only will this mean we can get the new pet mutations, but it also means that if we can craft and buy XP boosts, we’ll be able to age our pets quicker, so we can unlock extra pet egg slots, pet equip slots, and pet inventory slots, so this new update will help us in multiple ways.
From Saturday, when you talk to Raphael, the options will now be:
- Show me the egg shop
- I want to sell my pet
- How much is this worth?
- How do my pets get older?
- Show me pet info
- Nevermind
Usually, the Pet Egg Shop refreshes every 30 minutes, and you can just look across at the Pet Egg Shop, to see the eggs in stock.
We won’t be able to do that anymore, which is a little annoying. Now, we’ll have no choice but to head to the Pet Egg Shop, and click “show me the egg shop” to find out which eggs are in stock.
We will get a pop-up menu, just like the Seed Shop and the Gear Shop, showing the entire list of eggs available, and the numbers of each egg that are in stock.
This makes sense, as it means all of the shops and merchants will have the same stock menu format.
Grow A Garden Primal Egg
We are getting a brand new egg, and it’s called the Primal Egg. There are two versions of this egg, a free version, which I imagine we’ll be able to purchase in game, or make via the Dinosaur DNA Machine, but there’s also a premium version.
That means there will be a Premium Primal Egg option within the “shop” menu in the sidebar, where it’ll be on sale for 1 x egg for 149 Robux, 3 x eggs for 429 Robux, and 10 eggs for 1269 Robux.
That also means, the Premium Oasis Eggs will be removed from the shop, to make room for the new Primal Eggs, so if you still want the Oasis Eggs, make sure you buy them ASAP.
This new Pet Mutations update launches on Saturday, and we’ll be able to get unique mutations, with passives, buffs and cosmetics from the new Pet Mutations Machine.
Archaeologist Crate
We are getting a brand new crate, and it’s going to cost 179 Robux, so I really do believe that it’ll mean we’re going to get a new Event Shop, kinda like we did with the Summer Shop and the Honey Shop, as this crate will cost 179 Robux, so we might have to earn a new currency by trading in unwanted pets.

Amber Spine Seed
We are getting a number of new seeds, with the first seed being an Amber Spine Seed, and this seed is going to cost 625 Robux.
There have been a lot of fan-made trees/plants involving amber, and many players (myself included) were hoping the new candy blossom plant was going to be Amber Blossom, but it ended up being Bone Blossom instead, and it’s not the most aesthetic tree.
The Amber Spine Seed might give us a plant like the Fossilight, which has spines and rib cages on it, so it could be similar. Maybe we’ll be able to earn this seed by trading in unwanted pets, or be able to purchase it from a new event shop.
Giant Pinecone Seed
This seed sounds like it’s going to be amazing, if we’re going to get a pinecone tree – as they tend to be super tall fir trees.
I can’t wait for this seed, and it’s going to cost 929 Robux, so it looks like it is going to be a really big tree/plant, as the price of Robux tends to reflect how big/valuable the plant is when grown.
Grand Volcania Seed
How cool does this seed sound? It sounds like it could be a volcano themed plant, and I hope it grows to be as impressive as it sounds, and it’s not a single-harvest plant, as we are all so over those. I love the pink color though, I hope that means the plant/fruits will be pink, and it’s going to cost 819 Robux.
Horsetail Seed
A Horsetail is a real life plant, but it doesn’t look particularly impressive, so it’ll be interesting to see how it looks in game.
Lingonberry Seed
This is another real life plant, which is a bush with red berries on it. It’s not at all prehistoric or primal themed, so it’s a strange addition, but it’s another new seed we’re going to be getting on Saturday.
It’s only going to be 209 Robux, so it’s possible it’s only a small plant, or a single harvest plant.
Level Up Lollipop
With the new Pet Mutations Machine, we will be able to both craft and purchase (from the Gear Shop) items to level up our pets, and the Level Up Lollipop is one of those items.
I have no idea what this will be, but it could be a lollipop we purchase, feed to our pets, and that’ll increase the pet’s age maybe?
Medium Toy
Super random, but this “Medium Toy” looks like a dog toy. I have no idea how this will work, but it’s coming on Saturday.
Medium Treat
This is another random addition to the game, but it looks like a bone, that we’ll perhaps need to feed to our pets, to mutate them.
Small Toy
This appears to be a ball toy, and I have no idea how we’ll use it. It’s super basic in its design though.
