With the upcoming Grow A Garden summer update, which launches this Saturday, the 21st of June, we know we’re getting new seeds, new pets, new cosmetic items, new gear and new events.
We know we’re getting a lot of new pets, after one of the Grow A Garden developers shared a sneak peek of some of the pets coming in the update, and here’s a look at the new and exciting egg launching in the update, to give us the new summer themed pets…
The Grow A Garden Paradise Summer Egg has a beautiful design, with a pale orange color on the bottom, a band of yellow around the thickest part of the egg, and then three tiers of orange gradient.
On the sides of the egg, there’s a glowing yellow neon sunshine, and there’s also neon yellow glowing sun rays which comes out of the egg.
The design reminds me of the neon light effects on the Bug Egg, and it’s definitely a premium egg design.

We know that we’re getting the following pets during the summer update:
- Peacock
- Mimic Octopus
- Crab
- Capybara
- Flamingo
- Orangutan
- Seagull
- Starfish
- Toucan
- Sea Turtle
- Scarlet Macaw
- Seal
- Ostrich
But we don’t know when these pets are launching, and which of these pets will feature within the Paradise Summer Egg.
I think we’ll unlock some of the pets via the Harvest event, and possibly the tropical birds will come in the Grow A Garden Paradise Summer Egg?
Maybe we’ll get the peacock, flamingo, toucan, scarlet macaw and ostrich inside the Paradise Summer Egg, which would make sense, as it’s usually 5-6 pets in an egg, but we won’t know for sure until it launches.
As well as the Paradise Summer Egg launching, we’re also getting the Rare Summer Egg, which has a more basic design, in comparison, with a blue gradient color design.
As well as the Summer Paradise Egg and Rare Summer Egg, we also have the Common Summer Egg, which is so cool, as we’re going to have three new eggs to get and hatch, and at least 15 new pets to collect.
I don’t know if these eggs will launch inside the pet shop, like the bug egg, legendary egg, mythical egg, rare egg, uncommon egg or common egg.
Or they could be something we purchase as part of the summer event, using a new currency (like we can buy the bee eggs or anti bee eggs using honey coins or crafting).
I can’t wait to see the eggs once they launch on Saturday, and to start collecting the beautiful new pets.
