Grow A Garden NEW FAIRY Event Update Revealed! [Spoilers]

The latest Grow A Garden update has been officially announced, and it is the Grow A Garden Fairy Event Update.

Last week, we saw the Beanstalk extension update, which was a second part to the original Beanstalk update that launched the previous week, and it was a very small update.

All of the focus from the Grow A Garden dev team was clearly on the (epic) admin abuse battle, so it’s exciting to have a fresh new update, with all new content. Keep on reading to find out more…

Kicking things off, this newest update is specifically called the Fairy Event update, and that’s important to know, as that means it’s going to be a specific type of update.

Whenever Grow A Garden launches an “event” type update, it means it’s going to have an hourly grind feature, rather than a passive dip in and out of the game feature.

For example, the Bee Event with the bees pollinating crops on the hour and the Zen Event with the tranquil orbs and corruption orbs mutating crops on the hour.

This is both good and bad. Good in that we’ll have something to do and grind towards, but bad that it’s looking like it’s going to be a pretty labor-intensive update from the spoilers we’ve seen.

The Grow A Garden Fairy Event Update launches this Saturday, at 10am EST – so the start time is back to normal, after the times being switched around last week for the admin abuse battle, so make sure you check your times, so you don’t miss anything. 

Jandel did a TikTok video (here) talking about the admin abuse battle, and said he “might” be taking a break from the admin abuse this Saturday, as he’s done it every single Saturday for four months.

We will have to wait and see, but it is possible, there won’t be the admin abuse this week, but we’ll still have the brand new update to look forward to.

This announcement is a little different to the normal new event announcements, as the headline both in the official Discord, and on Roblox, is “Fairy Event & More” – suggesting we’re getting some brand new game mechanics and features which are going to be pretty big.

For the last couple of weeks, we’ve had the new Garden Guide introduced, with both plant and pet quests to do. 

We have seen some spoilers on what those new features could be, and it’s super exciting indeed…

Grow A Garden Fairy Event Update Spoilers…

YouTuber EpterGaming shared some crazy leaks with us, and to start, we’re getting a brand new Fairy Currency.

We’ve seen past updates that had special update currency, that we could only “spend” within the update, like the Chi Points (Zen update), Summer Coins (Summer Harvest update), Honey Coins (Bee Update).

We are potentially going to need to use the new Fairy currency to purchase items within the update, and we’ll earn the currency by participating in the Fairy event.

We are getting a brand new stall to join the existing Seed Shop, Sell Stand, Pet Shop, Gear Shop and Cosmetics Shop, and it’s the new Garden Coin Shop.

There is going to be a new game currency to join the existing sheckles currency, and it’s Garden Coins.

You’ll have to purchase the Garden Coins, and these Garden Coins will allow you to purchase garden features from the Garden Coin Shop:

• Save Slot Upgrade (you can purchase ONE new save slot to give you a total of THREE garden save slots)
• Cosmetic Inventory Capacity (unlock additional cosmetic inventory slots)
• Plant Inventory Capacity (unlock 10 additional slots for your plant inventory)
• Egg Capactiy (unlock upto 5 extra egg hatch slots for your garden)

We are going to have a new “Rebirth” function, where you can reset your sheckles to zero.

I think this will only be handy for content creators that do challenge videos, and want to start from zero, without having to make a new alt account for the video. But, you will be able to reset your sheckle balance if you want to.

The Garden Coins look to be 1QA each (one quadrillion sheckles each), and the Save Slot Upgrade is going to cost 3 GARDEN COINS, so it’ll cost you 3 quadrillion sheckles.

There will be 5 egg hatch slots available via the new shop, and it’ll cost you 3 quadrillion sheckles for each egg, so to unlock the full five extra hatch slots (so you can hatch 13 eggs at once), it’ll cost you 15 quadrillion sheckles.

Here is a tiny look at what the fairy event will look like, with an event display in the center of the field, just like every update.

In the photo, you can see that there’s a time countdown to the event happening (just like the Zen Update and Bee Update), where the fairies will come out and add a “Glimmering” mutation to our crops, and we’ll have to hand in the Glimmering crops to the fairy NPC in the center, to unlock rewards.

It kinda looks like it’s going to be like the Corruption update, where we had to hand in specific fruit with the corruption mutation to unlock rewards.

I just hope it’s not going to be specific weights, as that’s a nightmare, but it looks like it’s going to be a cross between the Bee Update and the Zen/Corruption update.

Here, we can see that we need to give the following crops to get access to the Fairy Favors shop:

• Glimmering Orange Tulip
• Glimmering Carrot
• Glimmering Strawberry

It doesn’t look like we’re going to need specific weights of fruits (thank goodness), but we’re going to need a whole bunch of different seeds, and hope they get the new Glimmering mutation, as we’ll have to hand in three different fruits each time.

We are going to get a Glimmering Radar gear item too, so we’ll be able to quickly harvest the “Glimmering” mutated crops, which will be so helpful.

Once you’ve handed in the three Glimmering crops it asks for, you’ll be able to “make a wish”, which will allow you to choose one of three rewards, just like the Rat Connoisseur from the Kitchen Storm update.

The example image shows the three rewards for this time were:

• Fairy Points
• Glimmering Radar
• Fairy Targeter

There’s also a “reroll” function in the top corner, which I guess we’ll able to do with Robux? It would be amazing if we could do with sheckles though, like we can restock the shop with the Beanstalk event.

There is going to be a feature that allows us to make Fairy Upgrades:

• Fairy Quality (can target Rare plants)
• Fairy Event Duration
• Fairy Spawn Amount

I’m sure we’ll probably have to use Fairy currency to “buy” these, but each upgrade is 2500 each, and I can’t imagine it’ll be 2500 sheckles, as that would be insanely cheap, when you consider the first Beanstalk event shop restock is 500k sheckles.
