The Grow A Garden Honey Shop got two brand new seeds added to the stock list this past weekend. The devs added two brand new seeds, and we can use our Honey Coins to purchase them. We have the brand new Nectarshade Seed, and the new Lavender seed. Keep on reading to find out all about the Lavender seed.

The brand new Lavender Seed is available via the Honey Shop, where you’ll need to spend your Honey Coins, which you earn by feeding in 10kg of pollinated fruits and flowers into the Honey Combpressor, which coverts the fruits into honey, and gives you 10 Honey Coins for every jar of honey.
Each Lavender seed is just 3 Honey Coins, and there’s usually 3-5 seeds in stock, when the seed is in stock, and it’s rated as being “Uncommon” in terms of rarity. The Nectarshade seed is 5 Honey Coins each, so the Lavender seed is the more affordable of the two.
The seed is a pretty purple color, and is the same color all over.

Unfortunately, like the Nectarshade seed, the Lavender seed yelds a single harvest, so when you’ve collected the Lavender, that’s the seed finished with.
I just hate single use seeds, they feel so pointless, and they’re so easy to accidentally harvest.
Once your Lavender has fully grown, it appears in four stems in one, with little purple upside down bell shapes.
Sizes do differ from seed to seed, but they’re mostly pretty uniform.

I think the Grow A Garden team did pretty well in attempting to make it look like Lavender, and I think it looks pretty.
I just wish it wasn’t a single harvest seed, as I’d love to have lavender bushes along the front of my garden, but the fact it’s single-harvest always puts me off using those types of seeds.

When it comes to the value, the stem I’m holding is only 0.34kg, and it sold for 38,254 sheckles, which is about the half the value compared to the Nectarshade, which explains why this seed is 3 Honey Coins, whereas one Nectarshade seed is 5 Honey Coins.
If you prefer mutli-harvest seeds, there are a couple of multi-harvest seeds up for grabs when doing the Bizzy Bear craft recipe quest, but the Lavender seed is limited edition, so get it whilst you can, because it’ll disappear once the Honey Shop disappears.
