We have a brand new seed within the Grow A Garden Seed Shop, and it’s the Burning Bud Seed, which launched as part of the Prehistoric Dino Update.
We’ve had a number of limited edition seeds lately, but the new Burning Bud is a permanent new addition to the game, and can be found in the Seed Shop. Keep on reading to find out all about this latest seed…

The new Burning Bud Seed is a new Prismatic Seed, and can be found right at the bottom of the Seed Shop Menu.
It’s now the rarest seed within the game, with a 0.29% chance of being stocked. However, amazingly, the Burning Bud Seed was stocked for the first time yesterday (Tuesday), since it launched, and it restocked a second time just 10 minutes later.
Plus, the Sugar Apple Seed was stocked 5 minutes later, so it was a crazy 15 minutes of Prismatic seeds.
The Burning Bud Seed has an orange to red gradient design, with a rippled effect, which mirrors the shape and color of the fully grown plant.

The new Grow A Garden Burning Bud Seed costs 40,000,000 sheckles, making it the most expensive seed within the game right now.
The Moon Mango Seed is still the most expensive seed we’ve ever had, and that was 1 billion per seed, for a very limited time, but with current seeds in the game, the Burning Bud is the most expensive.
After the Burning Bud, the next most expensive seed is the Sugar Apple Seed, which is 25,000,000 sheckles, so it’s quite a considerable jump from 25 million to 40 million.

The first time I planted my Burning Bud Seed, my plant grew a really short and tiny stem, so I allowed it to get to 100% grown, and I used the Reclaimer Gear, to convert it back into a seed, so I could replant.
When I replanted my seed, it grew into two stems at the top, meaning I’ll always get two flower heads on the plant, so I really recommend doing the same, and using the Reclaimer over and over, until you get a two-headed stem, so you get two flower heads every time, instead of just one.
It is a multi-harvest plant, so you can sell the flowers over and over, and the plant works really well with the Sprinkler Method.

Each of the Burning Bud flower heads have multi layers of petals, and both the stem of the plant, and the flowers are yellow, orange and red.
The flowers are huge, even without using the sprinklers. This flower in this photo was without using sprinklers, and it ended up being 15.79 kg, and it sold for 121,230 sheckles. Plus, as I have two flower heads, it’s basically double the money, as I’m getting multi-harvests every time.
When I did the sprinkler method on the plant, I ended up with two gold flowers, which I’ve now favorited, and plan to collect as many mutations as possible, to boost up the value.

While the flower heads are giant, the stem is so tall that the flowers don’t get in the way.
I’ve seen some people share images on Reddit, of crazy tall Burning Buds that end up taller than any in-game Bamboo, so you really could end up with any size of plant.
I’m so grateful for the Reclaimer gear, as it allows you to just replant until you get the size and shape you want.
