The Petal Bee and Bear Bee were on my dreamie list for the new Grow A Garden Bee pet collection. All five are super cute, but the Petal Bee and Bear Bee have the cutest designs, in my opinion.
If you’d like to find out all about the Petal Bee, the benefits of having the Petal Bee equipped and if it’s a worthwhile pet, keep on reading…

What Is The Grow A Garden Petal Bee Pet?
For the Grow A Garden Bizzy Bees update, a brand new egg was launched, called the Bee Egg.
Inside the Bee Egg, you’ll hatch one of five bee themed pets:
The Petal Bee is the second-rarest bee to hatch, with only a 4% chance of hatching her.
Unlike the other eggs within the game, you have to purchase the Bee Eggs with Honey Coins, which is a brand-new currency that’s exclusive to the Bizzy Bees update.
Every hour, on the hour, for ten minutes, bees fly out of the beehive on the central event display, to pollinate fruits within the player’s gardens.
You have to collect the pollinated fruits, and give them to Onett inside the wooden hut, which are then converted into honey, but you have to wait three minutes for the honey combpressor to do this.
Once the three minutes are up, you collect your jar of honey, and you are then awarded 10 Honey Coins, which you can spend in the Honey Shop, which is accessed by talking to the Queen Bee.
There are multiple items you can purchase from the Honey Shop, the Bee Eggs being one of them, and they are 18 Honey Coins each.
The Bee Eggs are very rare, and hardly ever in stock, so you have to be checking every hour to be able to catch them in stock, which I’m sure is a ploy by the devs to get people to keep coming back into the game, to boost the CCU numbers.
The Petal Bee is the only bee without a yellow and black color scheme. She is white, with pink stripes and pink wings, the same smiley face, and when she flies, a white and pink falling flower animation falls from her stomach.
She really is super pretty, and the petal name suits her perfectly.

What Are The Benefits Of The Grow A Garden Petal Bee Pet?
If you have the Petal Bee equipped in your Grow A Garden farm, every 24:43 minutes it’ll fly to a nearby fruit and pollinate it, applying the new pollinated mutation. Plus, there’s a 1.21% chance that flower type fruit stays after you’ve harvested it.

The bee and honey bee both pollinate your fruits, but at different intervals, but the Petal Bee has an extra benefit, which could be extra beneficial if you have flower type plants in your garden, like Moonblossom or Moonflower.
Plus, it’ll work on the six new flowers that launched in the Bizzy Bee update; rose, lilac, foxglove, pink lily, purple dahlia and sunflower.
Imagine if you got to keep a mutated sunflower after harvesting it? It would be insane!
If we get any more flowers in the game in the future, it could work with those too, so it’s a really good pet to own, so keep hold of it if you’re lucky enough to hatch one.
