The Shroomie is one of three brand new pets you can get from the Grow A Garden Enchanted Chest.
There’s the new Phoenix, the Shroomie and the Cardinal, which are the rewards inside the Enchanted Chest, alongside three super cool new seeds. Keep on reading to find out about the adorable Shroomie pet…

With the new Enchanted Chest, there are three brand new pets, and three brand new seeds thanks to the Fairy World update.
For the pets, there’s the rarest pet, which is the Phoenix, and there’s also the Shroomie mushroom pet, and the Cardinal bird pet too. Here are the percentage chances for all six items within the Enchanted Chest:
- Emerald Bud Seed – 34% chance
- Cardinal Pet – 34% chance
- Pyracantha Seed – 14.5% chance
- Shroomie Pet – 14.5% chance
- Aetherfruit Seed – 1% chance
- Phoenix Pet – 1% chance

The Grow A Garden Shroomie pet is rated as being a Legendary pet, with a percentage chance of 14.5% alongside the Pyracantha Seed, which is also 14.5%.
It’s one of the cutest pets in the game, as it’s a little red and white mushroom, with blushy cheeks, and it looks so cute strolling across your garden.
You can see multiple Shroomie pets walking around within the Fairy World underground area too, and they just look adorable, and the rainbow version of Shroomie is even cuter, if that’s even possible.

What Does The Grow A Garden Shroomie Pet Do?
All nearby plants within 25.05 studs will have an increased size bonus of 0.006x for every fungus type plant planted in your garden (maximum of 300).
Now, we all know mushrooms are a fungus type plant, but it works on other fungus plants too:
- Mushroom
- Glowshroom
- Horned Dinoshroom
- Nectarshade
- Duskpuff
So, if you have any of these plants within your garden, upto a max of 300, you’ll be able to get some crazy good size bonuses, especially if you have multiple Shroomie pets, as it looks as if the ability can stack, so multiple Shroomie pets will give you even more insane results.

It’s such a cute design for a pet, and I think it complements the fairy theme of the event perfectly.
I kinda wished they came in different colors, like the Pixie pet and the Glimmering Sprite pet, but it’s an adorable little pet, with a useful ability, and I can’t wait to see some Grow A Garden content creators making some videos on the Shroomie, and testing how big the fruit sizes can be, when using their ability.
