Clinique announced on their Instagram that they’ve listened to the feedback from Clinique fans on their decision to discontinue the iconic Chubby Stick For Eyes cream eyeshadow stick.
Clinique have officially relaunched their Chubby Stick Shadow Tints For Eyes in a small selection of shades. Keep on reading to find out more…

To announce the revival of the Clinique Chubby Stick Shadow Tint For Eyes, Clinique did a post on their Instagram with a number of screenshots of Clinique customers begging Clinique to bring the shadow sticks back.
“You asked. We listened. Chubby Stick Shadow returns in 6️⃣ fan-favorite shades:
» Bountiful Beige: the perfect everyday neutral.
» Lots O’ Latte: a toasted, neutral brown.
» Ample Amber: a subtly shimmery bronze.
» Fuller Fudge: a rich, deep chocolate brown.
» Lavish Lilac: a wearable, everyday lavender.
» Curvaceous Coal: a soft, smokey black.
Like all Clinique eye makeup, they follow the Eye Safety Promise:
👩⚕️ Ophthalmologist tested.
👁️ Safe for sensitive eyes.
👍 Safe for contact lens wearers.”
The six shades that have returned are:
- 01 Bountiful Beige
- 02 Ample Amber
- 03 Fuller Fudge
- 04 Lavish Lilac
- 05 Lots of Latte
- 06 Curious Coal
I’m gutted they didn’t bring back Whopping Willow, as that was their best shade (in my opinion) and mine is very old at this point. It was the perfect metallic olive green and it had the prettiest gold shift.
I used a free compare too lists tool I found on Google to compare the ingredients list on the “old” version and the “new” version, to see if there had maybe been an upgrade on the formula, or have they literally just brought the identical product back?
The revived Clinique Chubby Stick Shadow Tint for Eyes isn’t a dramatic reformulation, but the ingredient order has definitely changed from the version sold in 2021 (before it was discontinued), so it does look like that Clinique has tweaked the proportions of the existing formula for the relaunch, but the overall ingredient breakdown is still extremely similar, and the shadow sticks are officially available now.
