There are five brand new Grow A Garden pets, and they’re from the Anti Bee Egg, meaning they’re not at all cute like the pets inside the Bee Eggs.
With these five new pets, they’re all insects, but not bee-loving insects, and the tarantula hawk is just one of five brand new pets we can collect within the game. Keep on reading for the low-down on the tarantula hawk pet within the game…

What Is The Grow A Garden Tarantula Hawk Pet?
The tarantula hawk pet is a scary new pet within Grow A Garden, and can be found inside the Anti Bee Eggs.
Right now, you can get the Anti Bee Eggs by purchasing the Anti Bee Eggs in the Grow A Garden store, which can be found via the green button on the side of the screen, where they’re on sale for Robux, for 49 for one egg, 429 for three eggs, and 1269 for ten eggs.
These are the five pets you can hatch out of these brand new eggs, and all five are considered “anti-bee” pets:
- Wasp – 55% chance
- Tarantula Hawk – 30% chance
- Moth – 13.75% chance
- Butterfly – 1% chance
- Disco Bee – 0.25% chance
Anti Bee Eggs are bright red and black, with a striped design and red spikes all over. They look so edgy, and I love the eggs with special attention to detail, like the Bug Eggs with the wings or the Night Eggs with the glowing star.
These eggs are not available to purchase within the pet shop within the game. You either buy them with Robux, or you earn these eggs by doing the bear bee crafting challenge, by handing over your honey and a specific flower or fruit.
If you want to buy the Grow A Garden Anti Bee Egg with Robux, they are 149 for one egg, 429 for three eggs, and 1269 for ten eggs.
The design is just amazing. It’s a bright blue and black striped insect with black antenna, black legs, black stinger, orange and red double wings and an evil angry face.
The tarantula hawk is the second most common insect you’ll open within the Anti Bee Eggs.

What Is The Benefit Of The Grow A Garden Tarantula Hawk?
The tarantula hawk is rated as being a legendary pet, and every 24:47 minutes, it will fly to a nearby fruit and pollinate it, applying the pollination mutation.
Every 3:59 minutes, it stings a random pet and advances its ability cooldown by 81:23 seconds.
It’s very similar to the standard wasp, but it stings your pets a lot more frequently.
It’s so mean that these stinging insects will sting your pets, and it even gives you a little announcement ping that tells you which of your pets got stung by the wasp 🙁

Just like the ordinary wasp, when it stings one of your other pets, it actually shortens the pet’s cooldown period by 61 seconds.
For example, if it was the dragonfly, usually it turns a fruit gold every 5 minutes, but if your dragonfly was the pet that got stung, that 5 minutes time would be shortened by 81 seconds.
I do think the shortening of the cooldown period is a good benefit, but stinging your other pets feels so cruel. I think a lot of players won’t like the stinging insects for this feature alone.
