Caylus and Steak have teamed up to create a brand new Roblox game, and it’s themed around brainrots. It is Survive Lava For Brainrots, and it was only created 11 days ago, and it’s already becoming crazy popular. If you want to know all about the game and what you need to do to play, keep on reading.

Caylus and Steak took just two weeks to make this game, which is kinda crazy. The game is going to have updates every week, like most of the Roblox games in the Top Playing Now charts.
It is another brainrot game, which will make some people groan, but you don’t have to know about brainrots, or even like them, to play. Just like Plants Vs Brainrots, the brainrots are the main mechanic for earning money, but you really don’t need to care about them to enjoy the game.

When you first join Roblox Survive Lava For Brainrots, you get a tutorial on the screen, to show you what you need to do. You get a base against the back wall, next to other players in the server’s bases – with a total of 5 players per server.
Inside your base, there are 10 brainrot platforms, where you can place brainrots you pick up, and they’ll earn you money, just like all other brainrot games. You just stand on the green button in front of each platform to collect the money the brainrot has generated.
There are three stalls; Upgrade Shop, Carry Shop and Sell.

Upgrade Shop
The Upgrade Shop allows you to increase your speed. When you first join the game, you’ll have 16 speed and $0. Once you’ve earned money by placing brainrots in your base, you can pay to upgrade your speed, so you can run faster across the map.
There are different speed prices, depending on how much currency you have, but ideally, you want to be as fast as you can, so upgrade your speed as often as you can, if you have the currency to do so.
Carry Shop
The next stall is the Carry Shop. When you first start playing Survive Lava For Brainrots, you’ll be able to carry one singular brainrot at a time.
With the Carry Shop, you can use the in-game currency to purchase extra carry slots, so when you’re running to/from your base across the map, you can carry multiple brainrots, to save you time.
When you purchase a carry brainrot increase, the price will increase, just like it does for the Upgrade Shop, and the price for speed increases also go up.
Sell
Kinda self explanatory, but you’ll use this stall to sell brainrots you no longer want inside your base. You can sell an individual brainrot, sell all of your brainrots, or get a price for a brainrot.
Lucky Block Machine
On the left side of the screen, within the base section, there’s a bright yellow Lucky Block Machine, which, when you interact with it, it’ll give you a “recipe” of three specific brainrots it needs, and it’ll create a Lucky Block for you, at the cost of 50 million.
At the time of writing this guide, the machine is asking for; Compactaroni Diskaloni, To To To Sahur and Bisonte Giuppitere, however the recipes do change, so always check which brainrots it wants, so you can create some Lucky Blocks to open.

How To Play Survive Lava For Brainrots
The concept is super simple. The map is divided into “areas” based on the rarity of brainrots. There’s a big long corridor outside of the base section, and there are gray rocks dotted all over the place.
The zones are categorized by rarity;
- Common
- Rare
- Epic
- Legendary
- Mythic
- Secret
- Celestial
- Godly
On the gray rocks in each area, brainrots can spawn at random. Once a brainrot has spawned on one of the gray rock, it will stay there for 59 seconds.

You’ll see a countdown timer above the head of each brainrot. If nobody picks up that brainrot (click “interact” to pick it up) it will just disappear once the countdown as finished.
Each brainrot spawning in each area is completely random, and each brainrot that spawns can be of six mutations;
- Normal
- Gold
- Diamond
- Emerald
- Bloodmoon
- Rainbow
Mutated versions of each brainrot will generate more money per second, and you need as much money as possible within the game, to buy the speed upgrades, carry upgrades and for rebirths.

Lava
What makes Survive Lava For Brainrots different from the hundreds of other Roblox brainrot games is the lava.
You have to run through the map to grab the brainrots you need, but you need to avoid the rising lava, which appears from the floor.
You want to be able to run as fast as you can, so you can get back to your base as quick as possible, with the brainrot/s you’ve picked up, before the lava gets you.
To run fast, you have to upgrade your speed at the Upgrade Shop, and to make money to be able to afford to upgrade your speed, you need to get as many high paying brainrots as you can within your base, so you can keep earning money by second.
Just like all brainrot games, there’s a rebirth feature on the left side of the screen, which will give you benefits each time, but it will reset your speed each time.
When you rebirth, you get an increase to your jump height and an increase in your cash multiplier, so you definitely want to rebirth. Being able to jump higher is the most important aspect of the game, as you’ll be able to jump higher for the more lucrative brainrots, and jump to avoid the lava better.
If the lava touches you, you “die” and your avatar gets chopped into pieces, and you’re transported back to your base to start again.
You don’t lose money if the lava touches you, but if you’re holding any brainrots when the lava touches you, the brainrot will be dropped at the exact point you died, so you need to run quickly to where you died, to retrieve your dropped brainrot.

The lava appears in every rarity section, and the height of the lava does change. Make sure you watch the top of the screen to see when the lava is coming, as it will tell you how many seconds until the lava appears.
For each lava appearance, there will be a lava overflow event for one of the rarity zones, so you need to look to see which zone it is going to overflow in, to make sure it isn’t in your zone, as you’ll end up dying.
In the above photo, I’m standing in the Legendary section, but the overflow lava is happening in the Godly area, so I know I’m safe.
As well as looking for the text announcements, you’ll know the lava is coming when you see the red markers on each of the rocks. If you see the red line, and there’s gray above the red line, that’s a “safe” zone you can stand whilst you wait for the lava to drain away.
Although, sometimes the lava covers the rocks entirely, so you’ll have to jump to another rock with a safe gray section, so the lava doesn’t touch you.

Upgrade Your Brainrots
Not only can you upgrade your speed, you can upgrade each individual brainrot inside your base.
There’s a little purple plaque in front of each brainrot, and it tells you how much it’ll cost to upgrade that brainrot, and which level you’re currently on, with the level you’ll upgrade it to.
Once you’ve paid to upgrade a brainrot, it levels up, and earns you more in-game currency, so don’t just place your brainrots in your base and just leave them there. Upgrade your decent ones so they earn more money for you.

Upgrade Your Base
As well as the upgrades for speed and your individual brainrots, you can upgrade your base so it can hold more brainrots. The more brainrots you own, the more money you’ll own.
Upgrading your base will give you extra floors within your base, with more platforms.

Can You Steal In Survive Lava For Brainrots?
Yes. If you walk up to another player’s base, you have the option to “steal” using Robux. The cost for stealing is tiered depending on the rarity and level of the brainrot, so you’ll pay more Robux to steal a much better brainrot.
If you have the money available, I’d recommend upgrading your base, and placing your best leveled up brainrots on the highest floor you have.
If you have your best brainrots on the ground floor, they’re a lot more visible and tempting for players with Robux that just want to steal.
Just like Steal A Brainrot, people can use a Bat to hit you with, if you’re carrying a brainrot they want. Some people just bat people that are standing on the rocks waiting for the lava to go too, so you end up in the lava, which is so annoying.
When you join a server, watch how the other players are playing and if they’re walking around with their bats, as there’s nothing more annoying than getting to the Celestial section, climb one of the mammoth Celestial rocks, and then be whacked with a bat into the lava, so you have to start again.
You can pay 39 Robux a month to have a private server, and doing this will stop people hitting you with bats, and stop them stealing your brainrots inside your base.
