We are officially less than 48 hours away from the Grow A Garden summer update, and it’s so exciting as it’s going to be the biggest update Grow A Garden has ever launched.
We know we are getting LOTS of new pets (see the summer update Grow A Garden pets right here), but we’re getting all new seeds too. I have a reveal of eight amazing seeds we’re getting in the upcoming Grow A Garden summer update, so keep on reading to find out more…
I mentioned this in my post about the summer pets, but I do think that the summer update is going to be split into multiple parts over the coming weeks for June, July and August.
We’ve had 3 weeks for the bee update, with new features, pets and gear, and I think we’ll get a similar situation for the summer update.
I have found eight of the new seeds launching, and we might not get all eight of these seeds on Saturday, but we’ll perhaps get them in the coming weeks.
Let’s look at the eight seeds we’re going to get…
Bell Pepper Seed
The first seed we’re going to be getting is the Bell Pepper Seed.
The seed has a green, yellow, orange and red striped design, and they’re the colors you can get with bell peppers, so maybe this seed will grow bell peppers in all four colors, to match the four colors on the seed.
Bell peppers grow on plants rather than trees, so I imagine this seed will give us small plants, which will grow the bell peppers.
Avocado Seed
We are also going to be getting an avocado seed, and avocados grow on trees with dangling fruits, so hopefully we get something similar when planting an avocado seed in our gardens.
Feijoa Seed
The feijoa seed is another of the new seeds in the summer update, and I have to be honest, I’d never heard of a feijoa before, but it’s a common fruit grown in New Zealand, which I believe is where Jandel is from. They grow on small shrubs or trees, and have a green colored exterior.
Prickly Pear Seed
The prickly pear seed might be a seed that works well with the hedgehog pets, to increase the size of the prickly fruits.
Prickly pears grow on cactus like plants, and you can see the prickly pear plant in action in the above photo, in a sneak peek shared by DJ Jhai, and it’s next to the new Sea Turtle pet.
Loquat Seed
The loquat is a round, orange colored fruit, and they grow on trees. The seed is an orange color, which represents the color of loquat fruit.
Kiwi Seed
I’m so excited we’re going to be getting a kiwi seed. Kiwis are one of my favorite fruits, and I love the kiwi inspired design on the seed.
Kiwis grow on shortish trees, in clusters of kiwis, and I can’t wait to see how the seed grows when planted within the game, and to see how many fruits we get growing on the tree.
Cauliflower Seed
The next summer update seed is a little random, and it’s a cauliflower seed.
Cauliflowers don’t scream summer to me, but this white and green seed will grow cauliflowers in plants which sit close to the ground, so it’s not going to give us trees or bushes.
Green Apple Seed
We are getting another apple seed in this update. We already have the Apple Seed, which grows red apples, and last weekend we got the Sugar Apple Seed, and now we’re going to be getting a Green Apple Seed.
I wonder if the tree will look identical to the apple seed we already have in the game, but just with green apple fruits instead, or if it’ll be a new tree redesign, but it’s another new seed we’re getting in the update.
