Every brand is doing their own glossy lip balm right now, and EOS have launched their own formula today.
The EOS Dewy Lip Shines are an affordable option if you’re wanting to try the glossy lip balm trend, where you get the nourishment of a lip balm, but the high-shine finish of a lip gloss. Keep on reading to find out more…
The EOS Dewy Lip Shines are built like a lip balm but wear like a lip gloss.
EOS formulated the balms with shea butter, cocoa butter and argan butter to give you cushiony comfort, natural wearable shine and medium buildable color.

They give you glossy and glazed lips without ever feeling sticky or greasy on the lips.
Key Ingredients
- Cashmere Smooth Complex™ – a luxe blend of shea butter, cocoa butter, and argan butters and oils that wraps lips in buttery-soft hydration
- Allantoin – helps to calm dry lips, seal in moisture, and protect your lips from dryness for a smooth, soft, cushiony feel.
- Castor Seed Oil – giving your lips a smooth glide and soft shine without feeling sticky
- Sunflower Seed Wax – locks in hydration with a smooth feel and helps your lips to stay softer for longer
- Beeswax – locks in hydration and gives the balm its smooth, easy glide
The EOS Dewy Lip Shines offer seven different benefits in one, where the formula gives your lips long-lasting moisture even when the gloss has worn off.
They give you natural, wearable shine, and medium buildable color, with five shades to choose from that are universally flattering.
Each of the balms are $9.99, and the balms are housed in color coordinated squeezy plastic tubes, with a slanted silicone applicator so you can apply the balm directly to the lips.

The five shades of the EOS Dewy Lip Shines (from top to bottom looking at the above swatches) are:
- ‘Nilla Glaze – clear shade that tastes like the creamiest frosted bite
- Peach Fizz – peachy shade that tastes like a juicy little sip
- Strawberry Milk – creamy pink shade that tastes like the sweetest little treat
- Dirty Chai – cozy caramel shade that tastes like a warm spiced sip
- Jelly Donut – berry glaze shade that tastes like a fresh bakery bite
If you’re wanting to try a glossy lip balm, I think the five shades all look really pretty, and I love that each shade has a flavor to match the shade name.
I also love the packaging, they really don’t look like they’re a drugstore lip product. The tubes look so sleek, and more importantly, the formula sounds lovely, and they’re available right now.
