The Essence Juicy Matte Lip Mousses have an airy, mousse-like formula that glides smoothly over your lips. The matte formula envelops your lips with a soft-matte finish, which feels super light and comfortable.
These lip mousses give you medium lip coverage, and give you a beautiful diffused lip look. Once the lip mousse has dried down, it has a velvety texture that feels comfortable until you remove it.
Essence claim the Juicy Matte Lip Mousse formula is a soft matte, has buildable colour payoff.
The packaging is really cute, with pastel coloured rounded tubes with the name on the tube in a colour that clashes with the tube colour. They remind of chunky marker pens with the tapered tube and chunky lids.
They come with a tapered, small doefoot applicator for precise and even application.
The six shades available are:

There isn’t a lot of variation between the six shades. They’re mostly different shades of pink, but all six look so pretty and smooth on the model’s lips.
Even though they’re a matte lip formula, that claims to dry down to a velvet finish, they still look like they have a subtle sheen to the lips, which might be why the formula is supposedly so comfortable, as they’re not super drying like many matte lip creams can be.
