The Too Faced Born This Way Super Coverage Brighten & Correct Concealer is the newest addition to the Too Faced Born This Way complexion collection.
It is marketed as being a brightening and correcting concealer, which quickly corrects your dark circles and discoloration, with a lightweight formula for 24-hour wear.
Too Faced describe the concealer as effortlessly evening your complexion, reducing discoloration on the skin and minimizing the appearance of blemishes.
It gives you 24 hours of wear-time and hydration, claims it won’t settle in your fine lines and feels weightless on the skin.
This brand new Too Faced Born This Way Super Coverage Brighten & Correct Concealer looks to be a concealer/corrector addition to the existing Too Faced Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer.
Although the Super Coverage Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer is marketed as being a super coverage concealer to highlight, conceal and contour all-in-one, and this new Too Faced Born This Way Super Coverage Brighten & Correct Concealer is marketed as being more of a brightening and color-correcting concealer.
Too Faced Born This Way Super Coverage Brighten & Correct Concealer is available in six different shades;
- Pink – fair-to-light skin tone
- Warm Peach – light-to-medium skin tones
- Cool Peach – medium skin tones
- Honeycomb – medium-to-tan skin tones
- Sunset – deep skin tones
- Sweet Chai – tan to deep skin tones
This Brighten & Correct Concealer is $17 for just 0.06 oz/2 mL of product, which is a very small amount of product for a concealer.
From the description, it sounds like this is a concealer for under your eyes, and for targeting areas of discoloration.
It gives you the coverage you need for covering dark circles, but the corrector tones of the six shades will counteract the discoloration in the under eye area and around blemishes or pigmentation issues like melasma.
As the concealer offers “super coverage” it has intense coverage, so you need less product than say a standard concealer, which would explain why you do get such a small amount of product.
Too Faced recommend using “1 dot” of the concealer for brightening your skin, and using “3 dots” for correcting discoloration.
