The Essence Mini Edition Eyeshadow Palettes are a new collection of six miniature eyeshadow palettes.
Essence have always done a range of Edition Eyeshadow Palettes for years and years, and they used to have nine shadows, but they were discontinued relatively recently.
It looks like they were discontinued to make room for this new range of Mini Edition Eyeshadow Palettes.
The Essence Mini Edition Eyeshadow Palettes include six, miniature four pan palettes for $4.99.
The old Essence Edition Eyeshadow Palettes, with nine shades, were available in three colorways; The Nude Edition, The Rose Edition and The Brown Edition Palettes.
Now, the nine-pan palettes have been ditched and replaced by six brand new four-pan powder shadow palettes in the following colorways;
- Essence The Brown Edition Mini Eyeshadow Palette
- Essence The Grey Edition Mini Eyeshadow Palette
- Essence The Mauve Edition Mini Eyeshadow Palette
- Essence The Peach Edition Mini Eyeshadow Palette
- Essence The Rose Edition Mini Eyeshadow Palette
- Essence The Nude Edition Mini Eyeshadow Palette
These brand new Essence mini palettes offer intense color payoff, and they each contain three matte finish eyeshadows and one singular metallic shade, in a compact with a clear acrylic lid.
People are opting for smaller palettes and quads these days, so I can see why Essence chose to discontinue the larger nine pan palettes.
Here are the swatches of each of the six new mini eyeshadow palettes. Each palette is named after the color story inside the palette, and the swatches look really promising, especially for drugstore, affordable eyeshadow palettes.
We don’t know for sure as the shades aren’t individually named, but it does look like that for the palettes that used to exist in the nine-pan version (Nude, Rose and Brown), the four shades inside the mini version of the palettes were also in the larger size palette, rather than being four brand new shades.
