The Grow A Garden King Of The Seed event launched today, replacing the St Patrick’s Update, and it’s a PVP event where the winner will win a random seed from the Seed Shop.
You can do the event every 15 minutes, and you don’t need to spend anything to be able to do the event, but there is a brand new pack in the game’s shop, which is designed to help you with this event.

The Grow A Garden Rainbow Shovel Pack is in the shop, and it costs 399 Robux or 399 Trade Tokens.
This pack is only available for 7 days, and whilst it is designed to help you with the new King Of The Seed King Of The Hill themed event, the two items you get with this event, are permanent within your inventory, so you get to keep them once the event is over.
I knew I had to buy this pack, to see what the two items did, and if it was worth spending Robux or Trade Tokens on.

To explain this event in a nutshell, the King Of The Seed event runs every 15 minutes, and the raised platform is shown for 5 minutes.
During that 5 minutes, you need to climb the platform and get to the top. There’s a timer above your head, which counts how long you’ve been on the top of the platform.
The player that has been on the top platform the longest, in the server, at the end of the 5 minutes, wins one random seed from the Seed Shop.

The first item you get, when you buy the Rainbow Shovel Pack, is the Rainbow Coil.
In the shop, the Rainbow Coil is described as “Jump + Speed Boost OP”.

It is a rainbow colored coil, which, when you click it in your inventory, it appears on your forearm. It looks identical to the Rainbow Coil in Escape Tsunami For Brainrots.
Grow A Garden don’t really give an explanation for this coil, other than “Jump + Speed Boost”.

Firstly, when you have the coil equipped, it does give you the ability to jump really high. It was SO hard to try and get a screenshot of how high you can jump, but if you can see in this photo, you can jump as high as the black shadow seed in the air above the event platform.
We do have pets that make you jump higher in the game – the Brown Mouse and the Pterodactyl. However, the Rainbow Coil makes you jump considerably higher than the Brown Mouse and the Pterodactyl.
You would need 8 x Brown Mice or 8 x Pterodactyls equipped at the same time, to be able to jump as high as you can with the Grow A Garden Rainbow Coil.

To try and give context on how high you can jump with the Rainbow Coil, I have this massive Fossilight tree in my garden, as I was able to jump to the middle layer of the tree, with just the Coil. Usually, I can’t climb this tree unless we have admin abuse with a levitating weather.
The Rainbow Coil is going to be *amazing* for harvesting tall trees/plants, for doing obbies during admin abuse and for getting away from the trade ticket beggars that lurk in your plot as your garden loads in.

The second item you get with the Grow A Garden Rainbow Shovel Pack is the Rainbow Shovel, which is described in the shop s “Hit People Anywhere!”.
You don’t get a separate shovel when you purchase the Shovel Pack – it converts your existing shovel into a rainbow version.
When you equip the shovel, it flicks through the colors of the rainbow, just like a Rainbow mutation on a pet, or a Rainbow plant/fruit. You can see some of the colors in the photo above. It does look really cool.

With the Grow A Garden King Of The Seed Event, everyone can use their shovel to hit another player, when they’re on the event platform.
You cannot use your standard shovel to hit another player. When you use any shovel on the event platform, it makes the player you hit, somersault through the air – as shown above, they really go flying through the air.

What makes the Rainbow Shovel so OP, is that you can hit another player ANYWHERE in the map with the Rainbow Shovel, and it will send the player flying.
I both love this and hate this. It’s amazing for hitting annoying players that won’t leave you alone, like trying to stand on top of an egg you’re trying to hatch hoping you’ll accidentally gift them your newly hatched pet or hitting beggars that won’t take no for an answer.
However, people are just going to troll players and hit them over and over, because that is obviously hilarious.
Thankfully, you cannot use the Rainbow Shovel (or Rainbow Coil) in the Trading Market, so people won’t bother you with them in there, but they’re going to use the Rainbow Shovel to annoy other players.
I think the duo is very much worth the 399 Robux or Trade Tokens, as they’re two gear items you get to keep permanently, even when the event is over, and you only have until Saturday to buy the pack.
