Every Saturday, before the new Grow A Garden updates launch, Jandel does an hour-long admin abuse event, which gives us crazy good mutations, OP restocks in the Seed Shop and Gear Shop, and sometimes special gifts.
This Saturday, we have a super special admin abuse event, and it’s unlike any event we’ve had before. Jandel challenged Good Boy Sammy (aka the owner of Steal A Brainrot) to an admin abuse battle on Saturday, to see which game has the most players, and which dev does the best admin abuse.
It is happening this Saturday the 23rd August, and keep reading to find out everything you need to know. The time is different to the usual Grow A Garden updates, so please read carefully!

This “feud” all started when Jandel challenged Good Boy Sammy on Twitter for an admin abuse battle, as the lore suggests that Steal A Brainrot actually *stole* the admin abuse concept from Grow A Garden, and Jandel, so they’ve been feuding ever since, and competing over which game gets the most concurrent players on update day.
Ahead of the special Grow A Garden Vs Steal A Brainrot Admin Abuse Battle on Saturday, Jandel has asked all Grow A Garden players to equip a special Team Green Bean avatar, and if you do, ahead of Saturday, you’ll receive a special reward.

Jandel hasn’t told us what the special reward is going to be, but it could be a pet, like the Junkbot we got from the Flamingo/Albert admin abuse event, the Football pet we got from the Travis Kelce admin abuse event, or even the Cooked Chicken or Zombie Chicken we got previously too.
Jandel is going to donate $5k to #TeamWater (Mr Beast’s charity initiative to provide clean drinking water) for every 1 million players Grow A Garden gets more than Steal A Brainrot on Saturday, and Good Boy Sammy is going to match the donation too, so it’s going to raise a lot of money, as well as be a lot of fun for us.

If you want to know *how* to get the Team Green Bean avatar, I have a complete guide right here.
Whilst we don’t know what the special reward will be on Saturday, Grow A Garden has given us two special rewards today, if you have equipped the Team Green Bean avatar already; the Bean Speaker and the Beanworks Firework.

What Time Does The Grow A Garden Vs Steal A Brainrot Admin Abuse Battle Launch?
The Admin Abuse War is happening Saturday, the 23rd of August at 10am EST according to the Roblox Event page and Jandel has confirmed that the admin abuse will be starting one hour later than the usual Grow A Garden admin abuse start time.
Jandel always starts the admin abuse at least one hour before an update drops.
However, he has sometimes started his admin abuse session before the advertised start time, so you really need to be online, and logged into the game at least 60 minutes before the launch time, to make sure you’re going to benefit from every single admin event, and claim the “special reward” for wearing the Team Green Bean avatar.
If you’re late, not only would you miss out on any free items, but you’ll miss the admin abuse weather events, and miss out on possible high-value mutations.
Important: Make sure you are logged into your best garden save slot BEFORE the admin abuse starts, as you have to wait 3 minutes to swap garden save slots, so make sure you’re logged into the garden you want the best mutations for, before it starts, so you don’t miss out.

The times below are when the Grow A Garden Vs Steal A Brainrot Admin Abuse Battle starts – this is one hour later than normal, so do not miss out by being late, with the time being changed!
