One of the most common pets I seem to open is the standard cat pet within Grow A Garden. They are super popular, and you rarely get large sizes of the cat either, or I certainly don’t. I never notice large cat pets in other people’s gardens, but size issues aside, keep on reading to find out all about the cat pet within the game.

What Is The Grow A Garden Cat Pet?
You have three different cat pets within Grow A Garden. There’s the cat, which is this pet, then there’s the orange tabby cat, which can be found in the rare eggs, and there’s also the Moon Cat, and the Moon Cat is exclusive to the twilight shop, which was only available during the night events, which are currently removed from the game.
To find a cat, you’ll need to purchase one of the uncommon eggs, and the uncommon eggs can be found at the egg section of the pet shop.
Each uncommon egg is 150,000 (one hundred and fifty thousand sheckles) and the eggs are beige with lines on them.
There are four different pets inside the uncommon eggs, and they are:
- Black Bunny (black) 25%
- Chicken (yellow) 25%
- Cat (grey) 25%
- Deer (brown) 25%
It’s rare for the eggs to have an even split of chance percentage across all of the pets.
Usually there’s a tiered system of rarity, but all four of these pets are as common as each other, or uncommon should I say, seeing as it’s the uncommon egg.
The cat has a grey colored, boxy design with pink triangles inside its ears, a pink nose, and stripes across the top of its head.
When you hatch a cat, it makes the cutest meow noise, which really does sound adorable.

Benefits Of Owning The Grow A Garden Cat Pet
When you have the cat pet in your garden, as one of your equipped pets, every 79 seconds the cat will lie on its back within your garden, and nap for 10.21 seconds.
New fruits that grow within 10.21 studs of the green circle that surrounds the cat, will be 1.26x larger.
Make sure you pick the fruits within the green circle, when you see the cat napping, so you can enjoy larger fruits when they grow back.
When you compare the benefits of the ordinary cat with the orange tabby cat, with this one (the ordinary cat), every 79 seconds the cat will lie on its back within your garden, and nap for 10.21 seconds, and new fruits that grow within 10.21 studs of the green circle that surrounds the cat, will be 1.26x larger.
Whereas, with the orange tabby cat, every 89:44 seconds, it’ll lay on his back and “nap” for 15.21 seconds, and any new fruits within 15.21 studs will be 1.51x larger.
So, you’ll have to decide which cat design you prefer from the two, and which benefit you prefer too.
