We have three different cats to collect as pets within Grow A Garden, and the orange tabby cat is just one of those cats.
If you love cats, you’re going to love all three cats, although, as of writing this post, one of those cats is no longer available, after they ditched the twilight shop, but keep on reading to find out all about the ginger tabby cat.

What Is The Grow A Garden Orange Tabby Pet?
The Orange Tabby Grow A Garden Pet can be found inside the Rare Eggs, which will cost you 600,000 (six hundred thousand sheckles), and they can be purchased via the pet shop at the end of the field.
Inside the rare eggs, there are five different pets you can find, all of which have different rarities, and they are:
- Orange Tabby (cat) 33.33%
- Spotted Deer (brown with white spots) 25%
- Pig (pink) 16.67%
- Rooster (yellow) 16.67%
- Monkey (brown) 8.33%
The Orange Tabby Cat is the most common pet you’ll find inside these eggs, with a percentage chance of 33.33%.
When you open your rare egg, and find the orange tabby inside, it makes the cutest meow noise as the egg cracks, which is so sweet.
In terms of design, the orange tabby is a boxy looking cat with ginger fur, pink ears, pink nose, brown whiskers and brown stripes on his head.
There are two other cat pets within the game. There’s the normal cat, which can be found in the uncommon eggs, but there is also the super are Moon Cat, which can only be purchased during the twilight shop, which ran during the moon events, but those events have since been discontinued.

What Does The Orange Tabby Pet Do In Grow A Garden?
If you have the orange tabby equipped in your garden, as one of your pets, in Grow A Garden, you’ll notice that every 89:44 seconds, it’ll lay on his back and “nap” for 15.21 seconds, and any new fruits within 15.21 studs will be 1.51x larger.
It only works on new fruits, so you could rush and pick the fruit within the green circle surrounding the sleeping cat, so then the fruit will grow at a 1.51x larger size.

It’s not a bad benefit in all honesty, especially as the rare eggs are one of the three most affordable eggs in the game, and it’s nice that it makes fruits larger, but 90 seconds is a long time wait for this to happen each time.
