We have two bunny rabbit pets within Grow A Garden, and they’re both relatively common pets, so you will have probably hatched a lot of rabbits already.
The two bunnies come in two different types of eggs, with there being the bunny, which is white, and then we have the black bunny, which I’m going to talk about today. Keep on reading to find out all about the black bunny pet…

What Is The Grow A Garden Black Bunny Pet?
The Black Bunny is one of four pets you can hatch in an uncommon egg, and the uncommon eggs are 150,000 (one hundred and fifty thousand sheckles).
The uncommon eggs are a beige color, and whilst they’re called uncommon, they’re very common to find within the pet shop run by Raphael.
Inside the uncommon eggs, you’ll find one of these four pets:
- Black Bunny (black) 25%
- Chicken (yellow) 25%
- Cat (grey) 25%
- Deer (brown) 25%
The name kinda gives it away, but the black bunny is a black colored rabbit with pink inner ears and a pink nose, with a smiley face.
It’s quite a basic design compared to some of the other pets, but it was one of the first eggs to launch within the game, so the basic design makes sense.
I feel like the designs on the pets have got so much cuter, the longer the game as been going – it did only launch in March believe it or not.
It is a cute pet though, as it bunny hops throughout your garden, and makes the cutest noise when you hatch one out of an uncommon egg.

What Are The Benefits Of The Black Bunny Pet In Grow A Garden?
If you have a black bunny as one of your Grow A Garden pets, every 44.60 seconds, it will eat a carrot (if you have them planted that is), and you’ll get a 1.53x value bonus.
So, it basically feeds itself from your carrots, and you’ll earn more money for each carrot it eats, than you would if you were to sell the carrot at the selling stall.

It’s not the best bonus in all honesty, and while it is a cute design and hopping animation, I feel like the bunnies are both a wasted pet slot within your garden.
Carrots have such a low resell value anyway, so a 1.53x value bonus isn’t going to make you lots of sheckles, and there are many other pets which could give you better benefits, so for me, the bunnies are some of the least impressive pets within the game.
