Are you wanting a cow pet in Grow A Garden, and want to know how you get one, which benefits the cow offers, and whether the cow is a worthwhile pet to own? I’m going to share the benefits and tell you exactly what you need to do in order to get your own cow, so keep on reading to find out…

What Is The Grow A Garden Cow Pet?
The Cow pet is one of the pets you can get inside the Legendary Egg, and the Legendary Egg sells for 3,000,000 (three million sheckles) within the pet shop.
Inside the Legendary Eggs, you will get one of the following five pets:
- Cow (white and brown) 42.55%
- Silver Monkey (grey) 42.54%
- Sea Otter (brown) 10.64%
- Turtle (green) 2.13%
- Polar Bear (white) 2.13%
I feel like every single Legendary Egg I open, it’s a cow. I know it’s the around the same chance percentage as the silver monkey, but I feel like, all I ever open is cows.
When you hatch a cow, it makes a cute moo sound, and I also find that you either get a huge cow or a tiny little under 1kg cow. There’s no in between, but the mini cows are adorable.

Benefits Of Owning A Grow A Garden Cow Pet
If you equip the cow as one of your pets within your garden, it allows all plants within 8 studs, to grow 1.12% faster, so it’ll help speed up the growing process, but by a tiny, tiny amount.
I think the cow might be one of the most disappointing pets within the game, in all honestly.
An increase of 1.12% is so tiny it kinda feels pointless in all honesty. It’s crazy that it’s such a low percentage, for a pet that comes from a “legendary” egg. There’s nothing legendary about that benefit/trait.

Whenever I get a cow, I sell it immediately, and it retails for a decent amount, but it’s definitely one of the top 5 worst pets in the game, unfortunately.
The silver monkey comes from the same egg, with an almost identical chance percentage, and that one can duplicate your fruits when selling, so I would choose the silver monkey over the cow any day.
