When it comes to the designs and animations of Grow A Garden pets, the mole has to be one of my favorite pets in-game. It is so cute, and the animation is so fun. If you’d like to find out all about the Grow A Garden mole, the benefits, and how you can get one for yourself, keep on reading…

How To Get A Mole Pet In Grow A Garden
If you want to get your hands on a mole pet, you’re going to need to get some Night Eggs.
The Night Eggs can be won via the Lunar Glow Event, where you exchange your bloodlit fruit and moonlit fruit to Wise Old Owl on the event display in the center of the garden, and he’ll give you rewards as you progress along the reward track.
As well as being prizes, you can actually purchase Night Eggs now, within the Blood Moon Shop or Twilight Shop, which pop-up from the ground during a moon event, on the hour.
They’re navy blue eggs with a star on the front, and inside these eggs, you will get one of six pets:
- Hedgehog 40%
- Mole 22%
- Frog 14%
- Echo Frog 10%
- Night Owl 4%
- Raccoon 1%
The mole is the second most common pet to get inside these eggs, with a 22% chance, and they have an adorable design.
It’s a long mole with white feet and a pink nose, and it scurries along the floor.

The Benefits Of The Mole Pet In Grow A Garden
The mole, in my opinion, has one of the best designs and animations from all 36 pets.
It scurries along the floor, and every 80 seconds, the mole goes underground, and comes back up with either around 1000 Sheckles, or a piece of gear its found underground.

You get to see it dig the soil up, and then it dives underground, and a couple of seconds later, you’ll see it pop through the soil in a different place, as if it actually had been digging under the garden to find the sheckles or tool.
I find the mole nine times out of ten will find you around 900 to 1100 sheckles, but very occasionally, it will find a tool from the gear shop, and it tends to be watering cans or recall wrenches.
I’ve seen people say they’ve had lightning rods or master sprinklers from their moles, but I’ve never had anything better than a basic sprinkler.
When you’re new to the game, it’s a good pet to own, as it’ll find you around 1000 sheckles every 80 seconds.
I also find that they tend to be massive! You can hatch some mini moles, but more often than not, it’s a giant mole, and it looks even cooler when doing the digging underground animation.
