I always feel gutted whenever I see the surrealism theme within DTI. It’s such a hard theme, and nobody really knows what to dress up as, for this theme.
The meaning of surrealism is “a 20th-century avant-garde movement in art and literature which sought to release the creative potential of the unconscious mind”, and trying to portray that in DTI is insanely hard.
For this first outfit, I did this black outfit with pops of color, and a non-human makeup look.
Starting with the Denim Star Boots (Robux) colored 000000, 000000 and a41dff.
I used the Withered Rose Dress (currency) on “only skirt no layer” toggle, and colored it 000000 and 000000. Layered with the Halloween Dress (Quest reward) on toggle “default” and colored it 000000 for all three sections.
I used the Queen Of Hearts Top (Robux) on “cropped” with the lace removed, and colored 000000 and a41eff.
Next, I added the pink and white frilly corset from non-VIP, and colored that 000000, 000000, 000000, a41dff and 000000. Over that, I used the cream and white frilly crop top from non-VIP, and colored that 000000 and a41dff.
On the arms, I used the Moongazer Sleeves (Robux) in 000000, and the Advent Calendar Henna Tattoos for the neck and arms, both colored a41eff and 000000.
Lastly, I used the Runway Diva Crown in a41eff, 000000 and 000000.
I then did this creepy black and green lizard thing. This outfit starts with the Ice Queen Dress (Quest reward) in 000000, 0c690c and 000000, with the matching sleeves in the same colorway.
I used the Style Showdown Dress on “default” and colored 000000, 0c690c and 000000, with the matching Style Showdown Gloves in 000000 and 0c690c.
For the top, I used the iBella Jacket (code item) on “top only” and colored 000000.
Next, I used the VIP Valentine’s Chest flower corset in silk and 000000, 000000 and 0c690c, with the butterfly top in 000000.
I used the Vintage Mini Dress Choker (currency) in 0b680b.
Lastly, I used the Supernova Star Set (Currency) and used the shoulder ruffle and hip ruffle. I made the shoulder ruffle 0b680b and 000000, and the hip ruffle 000000 for every section.
For this outfit, I did a cute white and pink themed outfit, utilizing the new stuff from the petal update.
Starting with the VIP butterfly heels colored ffc2c3, ffc2c3, ffffff and ffc2c3.
I used the Withered Rose Skirt in ffffff, ffffff and ffc3c4, the Withered Rose Blindfold in ffffff, ffffff, ffffff and ffffff, and the Withered Rose Choker in ffffff, ffc2c3, fff8f3, ffc2c3, ffc3c4 and ffc3c4.
Next, I used the Myra Magical Girl Top (currency) with bow, gem and undershirt removed, and colored ffffff, ffffff, ffc3c4 and ffc3c4.
I used the butterfly top in ffffff, the VIP mesh skirt in ffffff, ffffff, ffffff and ffffff, and lastly, the VIP Moana Dress on “bow only” toggle, and colored ffffff.
