The newest Survive Lava For Brainrots update has been announced, and it’s the Moon Update. Inside the game, there has been a massive spinning moon next to the Lucky Block Machine, with a countdown timer above it.
In Caylus surprise admin abuse on Wednesday, he said that the moon was a hint at what was coming in the newest update, and now the update has been officially announced, and it’s dropping on Friday.

The Survive Lava For Brainrots Moon Update is dropping tomorrow; Friday the 13th of February, and it looks like it’s going to be the biggest update the game has has thus far.
With the Moon Update, we are getting 14 brand new brainrots added to the game, and added to the index.
Right now, there are 58 different Survive Lava For Brainrots you can get in the game, to fill out our index. That’s without counting the six different mutations you can get (Normal, Gold, Diamond, Emerald, Bloodmoon and Rainbow), and with this update, we are getting 14 brand new brainrots to collect.
Three of the new brainrots have been confirmed:
- Los Planetitos
- Giraffa Celestre
- Spazio Polare
However, in the Moon Update image shown above, we can see another new brainrot which hasn’t been named; the Nuclearo Dinossauro, which we can see is a brand new Celestial rarity brainrot.

The Survive Lava For Brainrots Moon Update is going to introduce three new Lucky Blocks.
Right now, we only have one type of Lucky Block, which contains the following brainrots; Water Botellini, Elephant Fridgo, Strawberry Jamini, Swag Soda and Los Strawberry Elephantitos.
Caylus mentioned during the Wednesday admin abuse that the Lucky Block would be going, so they’re going to be rare, so the yellow Lucky Block within the game, via the Lucky Block Machine or the Shop are potentially going and being replaced by the three new Lucky Blocks.
There is also going to be a brand new map event, which looks like it’s going to be a “Moon” event, where the sky turns dark with stars, and it looks like the Moon event could potentially give brainrots a “moon trait”, to increase the earnings per second.
They’ve announced there’s going to be “2 new traits” so it’ll be interesting to see what they both are, and what we have to do to potentially get them on our brainrots.
