SK-II Facial Treatment Serum is the newest skincare launch from SK-II, and joins the cult favorite SK-II Facial Treatment Essence. If you’d like to find out all about the formula and ingredients, keep on reading…

The SK-II Facial Treatment Serum is designed to “lock” in your beauty, and the bottle has been designed to resemble a padlock.
The formula combines Concentrated PITERA™ with newly developed Micro-Oil Beads III, and SK-II describe the beads as being skincare ingredients themselves, rather than capsules surrounded by a hard shell, which allows them to break down and melt into the skin without leaving a greasy or sticky residue behind.
SK-II’s microfluid technology has reduced the each of the beads to approximately 0.7mm in diameter.

Inside the standard 50ml size bottle, there is supposedly around 16,000 individual micro-oil beads, which are designed to increase contact with the skin as they burst while you massage the serum into your skin.
When it comes to the benefits, the SK-II Facial Treatment Serum claims to improve the loss of visible firmness, help with dryness and dehydration, improve dehydration lines and uneven skin texture, as well as improving dryness-related visible pores.
It also claims to boost your skin’s radiance, giving your skin a beautiful glow, firmness and soft, bouncy moisture, thanks to the layering approach within the formula, designed to help hold the PITERA’s moisturizing ingredients within the skin’s outermost layer.
SK-II Facial Treatment Serum has a rich and jelly-like texture rather than the watery, thin consistency of the (amazing) SK-II Facial Treatment Essence.
The serum is described as feeling dense and nourishing when dispensed from the bottle, before spreading into a fresher, lighter layer that absorbs without a noticeably oily residue, giving you cream-like moisture, while feeling comfortable and lightweight, and it’ll launch globally very soon.
