There were a lot of Christmas themes added to DTI during the Winter update back in December, and one of those was Holiday Movie. For this theme, you could dress up like a character from a specific holiday movie, like Elf or The Grinch.
Or, you could just go for a festive outfit that you’d potentially see in a holiday movie. I’ve got three outfit ideas for this theme, and hopefully they’ll give you some outfit inspiration.

It can’t get more festive than red glitter and white fur!
With this outfit, I started with the fur ankle boots from VIP, and made them glitter for the first section and the color 680c0e, then ffffff, 680c0e, f8f8f8 and ffffff.
On the legs, I went for tights and made them matte and white ffffff.
On the head I chose the Santa hat that we got during the advent calendar, and made it glitter for the first section and the color 680c0e and ffffff.
Around the neck, I used the scarf and made it white.
I put on the gloves on the shortest length and removed the fur, and made them ffffff.
I added the fur sleeves from non-VIP, but used toggle “3”, made them glitter and the color 680c0e.
Next, I added the butterfly top and made it glitter and the color 680c0e, then the ruffled mini-dress from the Valentine’s chest, and made it glitter all over and then colored it 680c0e, ffffff and ffffff.
Lastly, I added the mug accessory, and made the first section glitter and the color 680c0e to tie it all in, and then kept the other sections the default colors.

For this outfit, I started with the VIP fur ankle boots, and colored cd171b, cd171b, ffffff, ffffff and ffffff.
I added the tights, made them glitter, and colored them ffffff. For the skirt, I used the non-VIP belted skirt and toggled “fur” on, and colored it cd171b, cd171b, cd171b and ffffff.
I added the VIP button-up coat and toggled “fur” on, and chose the cropped toggle, making it cd171b, ffffff and ffffff. Then I added the pink cycle shorts to cover up my torso, and colored them cd171b.
I added the gloves on “short” and fur removed, and made ffffff. I used the Sparkling Resolution Choker (currency item) and colored it ffffff and ffffff.
Last two items, I added the advent calendar Santa hat in cd171b and ffffff. And the gift stack in glitter and c9cbce, a57f27, c9cbce and 0b680b.

For my last Dress To Impress Holiday Movie Theme outfit, I started with the VIP petal update butterfly shoes on “shoes only” and made black all over. Layered with the VIP knee-high strap boots in black, to create chunky black boots.
I used the socks on “high” toggle, and made glitter with the two colors 680c0e and 0b680b.
I added the advent calendar Santa Hat in 680c0e and 0b680b. Then I added the pearl drop earrings from VIP in 680c0e and 680c0e.
Then I added the Ella skirt (code item) in 680c0e, 680c0e, 0c690c and 0c690c. With the non-VIP mermaid mini-skirt in 680c0e.
Next, I added the cup accessory, and used one of the festive patterns for the first section.
I combined three tops for my top, starting with the men’s waistcoat and shirt on toggle “3” in 680c0e and 562424. I then added the LANA cropped top (code item) on the “smooth” toggle, and colored 0b680b.
Lastly, I added the Myra Magical Girl Top (currency), and all toggles off except the bow, and colored 0b680b for all three sections.
