Miu Miu Miutine Intense Eau de Parfum is the newest fragrance from Miu Miu, and is a new iteration of the original Miutine, and is said to be a darker, boozier blackberry version of the original Miutine fragrance. Keep on reading to find out more…
Miu Miu describes the new Miu Miu Miutine Intense Eau de Parfum as being a reinterpretation of the original Miutine’s gourmand-chypre signature, but it has been transformed into a richer, fruity-floral scent.
Featuring velvety blackberry, luminous gardenia, Bourbon vanilla and patchouli, with blackberry nectar giving it a more ‘magnetic’ trail.
Miu Miu have listed a pretty simple notes pyramid for an ‘intense’ version of a fragrance, and Miu Miu mentions patchouli in the write-up but it isn’t listed in the top, heart or base notes;
- Top: Blackberry Accord
- Heart: Gardenia Accord
- Base: Bourbon Vanilla Infusion
From the description from the brand, it sounds like Miu Miu Miutine Intense is going to be more sensual and evening-like compared to the original Miutine.
In the original Miutine, the notes include wild Mara des Bois strawberry, gardenia, brown sugar, Bourbon vanilla and patchouli, with it being a gourmand-chypre, whereas Miu Miu describe Miu Miu Miutine Intense Eau de Parfum as being a fruity-floral.
Miu Miu retained the gardenia, patchouli and bourbon vanilla, but upgraded the wild strawberry to blackberry liqueur and they upgraded the brown sugar sweetness to deeper syrup sweetness.
Plus, the bottle has the same Miu Miu Matelassé-style glass bottle, inspired by the fashion house’s quilted leather.
If you’re wanting to know if Miu Miu Miutine Intense Eau de Parfum will be your kind of fragrance and a comparison to a fragrance you already like. Looking at the notes breakdown, an existing fragrance that looks similar on paper is Jimmy Choo I Want Choo With Love, as they both have the blackberry/gardenia/vanilla combination, and Miu Miu Miutine Intense is available now.
