It looks like MAC is launching a brand new cushion foundation. The MAC Studio Radiance Serum Cushion Foundation SPF50+ is set to launch in the Asia-Pacific region, and hopefully it’ll be launching globally. If you’d like to find out more, keep on reading…
It is very possible that this new foundation will be an Asia-exclusive, like the MAC Studio Fix Longwear Cushion Foundation SPF50/PA+++, so this new launch could follow suit, and not be a MAC global launch, so just keep that in mind.
MAC already has the MAC Studio Radiance Serum-Powered Foundation within their range, and it looks like they’ve taken inspiration from that formula to create a cushion foundation formula.
This new cushion foundation is said to have a serum-like formula to give you a fresh and dewy glow with long lasting wear.
The packaging is so beautiful, with a black compact with a gold chrome plate on the top with the MAC logo. It looks so different to any other MAC packaging for their foundations.
MAC Studio Radiance Serum Cushion Foundation SPF50+ utilizes MAC’s unique “dewy capsule technology” where each tap of the cushion releases bursting capsules that spreads essence, to give you a fresh and dewy glow.
On the skin, the formula captures light from multiple directions to give you a natural, radiant glow that looks like it’s your skin that’s glowing, and not because of the makeup you’ve applied.
Within the formula, there is 79% serum to keep your skin moisturized and hydrated for up to 12 hours of wear time.
The MAC Studio Radiance Serum Cushion Foundation SPF50+ has a thin, film-like texture that melts into your skin, locking in moisture while giving you lightweight coverage.
The formula covers any skin imperfections like uneven skin tone or pores, to give you a smooth finish without feeling heavy or cakey.
As well as the SPF50+ and PA+++ UV protection, the formula claims to be water-resistant, sweat- resistant, and humidity-resistant.
In Asia, there are seven shades;
- N11
- N12
- N18
- NC10
- NC15
- NC20
- NW11
Fingers crossed the foundation launches globally eventually, but for now, it’s an Asia exclusive.
