The Essence Water Dew Serum Blushers are the Essence summer launch I’m most excited about. I absolutely love serum blushers, and these new Essence serum blushers look beyond beautiful, and I need all five shades.
The Essence Water Dew Serum Blush formula gives you fresh colour, made easy. The water dew serum blushers give your cheeks a fresh, dewy pop of colour in just seconds.
They’re described as having a lightweight and water-based texture, which blends effortlessly into the skin, but is also easy to build, allowing you to go from a soft flush of colour to a more juicy, bolder glow.
The formula contains both squalane and jojoba oil, to give you a comfortable and hydrated feel on the skin.
Each of the colour coordinated tubes come with a soft, flexible sponge applicator within the lid, which you “dot”, blend and glow for quick and easy application.
I feel like a lot of the Essence summer launches are inspired by K-Beauty. If you didn’t see Essence on the front of the tube, it really does look like a K-Beauty product with the packaging design and the pointed sponge applicator within the lid.
The pointed sponge applicator very much reminds me of the now discontinued Lancome Juicy Shakers Lip Oils.

The Essence Water Dew Serum Blush comes in 5 different shades;
- 10 Pinky Bloom
- 20 Juicy Melon
- 30 Rose Mood
- 40 Milky Berry
- 50 Toasty Flush
On the models, the Water Dew Serum Blush looks very glowy and a little sheer, but Essence do claim the formula is buildable, so you can get a more intense flush of colour should you want one.
I think these Essence serum blushers are one of, if not the most affordable serum blushers too, as they’re just £2.99/€2.95 each, making them a great budget-friendly alternative to the ABH serum blushes or the Glow Recipe serum blushes. Plus, they’ve also launched a range of Water Dew Serum Bronzers too.
