Christian Louboutin has launched a limited edition lipstick in time for the holidays. The Christian Louboutin Limited Edition Rouge Louboutin Strass Lipstick is super limited, in that the brand has only created 800 pieces so it’s a true collectors piece.
The Rouge Louboutin Strass Lipstick draws inspiration from the Louboutin “Lipstrass” heel (the crystalized lipstick casing heels) with an elongated, tapered, stiletto-inspired gold case.
It has a dramatic pointed base and an ornate, crown-like cap and it features 160 individually hand-assembled strass red and clear colored crystals.
The ornate gold cap features sculpted, art deco inspired fan like details with a band of raised gold studs around the lid.
The jewel-encrusted stiletto-inspired case comes with one refill lipstick in the shade ‘Epic Brunette’, which Louboutin describes as being a burnt deep nude rose, and it is available now.
