Every brand is doing the blurred lip trend right now, and the Catrice Blur-Real Lip Shapers are just one of the new Catrice launches for Autumn.
Catrice already have a few different lip formulas in their Blur-Real range, and now they’ve launched these lip shaping crayons.
The Catrice Blur-Real Lip Shapers are chunky black plastic pencils with a built-in kabuki brush on one end for blending and blurring the lip colour out, and on the opposite end there is a twist-up lip pencil.
These lip crayons are designed to help you achieve a soft, naturally defined lip, enhancing your lip contours with a semi-matte colour payoff for an effortless blurred lip look.
Catrice describes the formula as being creamy and they glide smoothly over the lips, making it easy to define and line your lip shape, to create the appearance of fuller lips.
For the formula, the Catrice Blur-Real Lip Shapers are enriched with peptides and hyaluronic acid for a comfortable feel throughout wear.
Each of the lip shaper pencils have a precision tip, allowing you to apply the colour accurately, while the integrated kabuki blending brush creates a soft, diffused finish with a naturally sculpted effect.

The Catrice Blur-Real Lip Shapers are available in six different shades;
- 010 – Sharp
- 020 – Snatched
- 030 – Defined
- 040 – Framed
- 050 – Fleek
- 060 – Curved
You can use these twist-up lip crayons as a lip liner and/or as an all over lip color, and the kabuki brush on the opposite end lets you fully blur your lip colour and lip line, for the blurred effect on your lips.
It is a bit of a beauty retro comparison, but do you remember the (now discontinued) ELF Matte Lip Colors (we’re talking 10+ years ago). Those were chunky black plastic tubes with a twist-up chunky lip crayon. I used to be obsessed with a shade called Tea Rose (010 of this Catrice version looks very similar).
They were amazing back then, but these new Catrice Blur-Real Lip Shapers really remind me of those, both in packaging and finish on the lips, and I can’t wait to try this formula to see how it compares to the old ELF Studio Matte Lip Colors.
