Catrice has launched a range of new tinted lip balms for a glossy finish; the Catrice Bare Glow Lip Oil Balms, which feature pH technology to give you a custom lip color. Keep on reading to find out more…
The Catrice Bare Glow Lip Oil Balms are a pH adapting lip oil balm for an individual color result, with 96.7% of people testing the lip balm finding that they had an instant visible effect from applying the lip oil balm to their lips.
These lip oil balms feature GlowAdapt Technology, which adapts to the wearer’s unique undertone to give you a individual lip shade.
90% confirmed that the color adapts uniquely to the lips, creating a more personalized result compared to traditional pH balms.
They have a melting balm-to-oil texture which feels both light and sensorial on your lips, with a buildable intensity and a subtle peach scent.
Catrice formulated the balms to have a 98% care formula, with over 60% of the formula being nourishing oils, combined with squalane and hyaluronic acid to combine color, care and up to 24 hours of hydration.
When applied, the balms give you a transparent, glossy finish with a lightweight formulation.

The Catrice Bare Glow Lip Oil Balms are available in three shades;
- 010 Cool Pink – light rosy pink shade
- 020 Warm Mahogany – deep rosewood shade
- 030 Dark Ruby Red – deep berry toned red shade
I think the pH technology claims with lip products can be quite gimmicky, but in the above swatches, you can see the three shades looking completely different on the three models, and not just the variation of skin tones.
If you look at the middle shade (Warm Mahogany), on the top model’s arm it looks a lot more warm toned than the middle model’s arm. All three shades look very glossy and pigmented for a lip oil balm.
