Bobbi Brown x The Met Collaboration

The Bobbi Brown x The Met Collaboration features five different products, and each of the products has a stunning iconic painting depicted on the packaging.

Within the collaboration, there are the following products;

  • Bobbi Brown x The Met Sheer Finish Pressed Powder
  • Bobbi Brown x The Met Luxe Lipstick in the shade Parisian Red
  • Bobbi Brown x The Met Soothing Cleansing Oil
  • Bobbi Brown x The Met Eyeshadow Palette
  • Bobbi Brown x The Met Pot Rouge Velvet Matte Cream Blush & Tint

Bobbi Brown x The Met Sheer Finish Pressed Powder

Bobbi Brown x The Met Sheer Finish Pressed Powder

The Bobbi Brown x The Met Sheer Finish Pressed Powder features the Vincent Van Gogh Irises painting (from the year 1890) on the front of compact, which is just gorgeous.

It is the brand’s lightweight, oil-absorbing pressed powder, and Bobbi Brown has even carried the Irises painting likeness onto the powder itself, with a raised embossed design.

Bobbi Brown x The Met Luxe Lipstick in the shade Parisian Red

There appears to be just one lipstick in the collection, and it’s in the shade Parisian Red, in the Luxe Lipstick formula. We don’t know if there will be any other shades, or just this statement red shade.

Bobbi Brown x The Met Soothing Cleansing Oil

Every limited edition Bobbi Brown collab features their Soothing Cleansing Oil, and for the Bobbi Brown x The Met Collaboration the cleansing oil features the Auguste Renoir’s By the Seashore painting (1883).

Bobbi Brown x The Met Eyeshadow Palette

The collection features a Bobbi Brown Eyeshadow Palette, which looks to be one of their usual 10-pan palettes with rectangular pans.

On the packaging, you can see the Vincent van Gogh Wheat Field with Cypresses painting (1889). We can also see that the pans have a raised design (like the powder in the collection), and the color story appears to feature lilacs, mauves and purples.

Bobbi Brown x The Met Pot Rouge Velvet Matte Cream Blush & Tint

The last piece in the Bobbi Brown x The Met Collaboration is the Pot Rouge Velvet Matte Cream Blush & Tint. I believe the shade is going to be Tea Rose or Muted Peach, looking at the color inside the jar.

For the packaging design for this product, it is the Bouquet of Flowers by Odilon Redon (1900-1905), and it looks so pretty against the shade of the blush.

I’ll update this post whenever I get more information, but I am particularly excited about that palette. It’s rare for Bobbi Brown to create a cool toned palette, and it really does look pretty.
