Essence is launching a dancing themed Christmas collection as part of this year’s holiday collections.
The Essence Dancing Around the Xmas Tree Christmas Collection features seven products in total with a mascara, highlighter, lip balm, lip stain, liquid blusher, lip gloss and lip mask. Keep on reading to find out more…
The Essence Dancing Around the Xmas Tree Christmas Collection features seven products with shade names themed around dances, and there’s a glittery/sparkle theme across all seven products.

Essence Dancing Around the Xmas Tree I Love Extreme Volume Mascara in 01 Santa Said Cha-cha
Would it be an Essence Trend Edition collection without a mascara? For this collection, Essence decided to choose their I Love Extreme Volume Mascara, and it’s in the shade Santa Said Cha-Cha, but it is just their Ultra Black shade.
Essence Dancing Around the Xmas Tree All Over Highlighter in 01 Dancefloor Dust
Next up, it is a powder highlighter that looks very glittery. It appears to be a pale champagne shimmer for the base, with gold glitter.
The highlighter has a section underneath the pan, to store a cute white powder puff with a pink bow, and there’s a little Christmas tree printed on the mirror in the powder puff compartment too.
Essence Dancing Around the Xmas Tree Juicy Bomb Lip Gloss & Key Chain in 01 Twirl Me Under The Tree
Possibly the cutest item in the collection, is this Juicy Bomb Mini Shiny Lip Gloss with a puffy, dark green Christmas tree shaped charm attach to a keychain.
For the lip gloss itself, the shade is a light pink that looks clear on the lips with subtle pink shimmer.
Essence Dancing Around the Xmas Tree Lip Beautifier in 01 Snowflake Salsa
This is the “Lip Beautifier” which essentially looks like a clear lip balm with gold glitter particles. There aren’t any claims on the formula or the ingredients, but it’s a sparkly lip balm. It does look really pretty in the packaging though.
Essence Dancing Around the Xmas Tree Lip Stain in 01 Ho-ho-hop
With this lip stain, there’s just one shade; Ho Ho Hop, which is a deep berry, and it gives Benefit Benetint vibes – but considerably cheaper.
The packaging has a clear section on the top of the lid, and the compartment is filled with gold star confetti which you can shake.
There doesn’t appear to be any shimmer or glitter at all in this highlighter, so as well as the mascara, they are the only two shimmer/glitter free items within this collection.
Essence Dancing Around the Xmas Tree Liquid Blushlighter in 01 Berry Ballet
There is one shade of this Liquid Blushlighter, which is said to be a highlighter and blusher all-in-one.
It has a sponge tip applicator within the lid, which you can apply directly to your cheeks.
The shade is a berry pink loaded with golden shimmer particles, to give you both colour and radiance on the cheeks.
Essence Dancing Around the Xmas Tree Peptide Lip Mask
The last item in the collection is a Peptide Lip Mask. It’s a round, circular lip mask pot in a fuchsia pink colour, and it contains 9g of product.
There aren’t yet any photos of the lip mask, the claims, shade or ingredients, but it is definitely part of the dancing themed Essence Christmas collection.
