Covergirl has launched a brand new mascara collection as part of their bestselling Lash Blast mascara range. The Covergirl Lash Blast Showstopper Mascara Collection is launching in three different shades as well as a waterproof version. Keep on reading to find out more…
The Covergirl Lash Blast Showstopper Mascara Collection includes the following four versions;
- Hypnotic Black 800
- Spotlight Brown 805
- Hypnotic Black Waterproof 820
- Black Plum 815
Covergirl Lash Blast Showstopper Mascara is designed to give you false lash effect lashes with extreme bold volume.
The brush has been designed with Covergirl’s exclusive dual-fiber Double Take brush, engineered to give you buildable volume, thickness and clump-free definition all-in-one.
For the Covergirl Lash Blast Showstopper Mascara wand, it features both fibers and molded brush materials in a twisted 360° design for showstopping impact and up to 800% volume boost.
In the above photo, you can see the texture of the two different types of bristle material for the wand. There is a mix of usual fiber bristles that you’d usually see on a natural mascara wand, with silicone bristles in a really interesting twist design.
It looks like this wand will give you the length that you typically get with silicone bristle wands, but with the volume that you tend to get with natural mascara wands.
Covergirl have infused the formula with peptides, castor oil, vitamin B5 and stays clump-free, flake-free and transfer-proof all day long.
The tube design is unique, with a shiny chrome tube with a bubbled shape along the full length of the tube.
The curves of the bubbles look like they’d be good for gripping the wand for application, and it’s definitely unlike any other Covergirl mascara tube design.
Here you can see the four shades easily with 800 and 820 both being Hypnotic Black, but you have the normal formula and the waterproof formula.
Then there’s a brown shade and a black plum shade. You don’t usually see shades like Black Plum from Covergirl, and it looks really pretty on the lashes.

How amazing do the before and after photos look with this new mascara? I love that Covergirl included the before/after photos for four types of lashes (straight, curly, fine and short), and the new mascara is available now.
