The Smashbox O-Noir pH Lip & Cheek Tint, Lip Liner and Lip Gloss is a new lip trio inspired by the (now discontinued) Smashbox O-Gloss Noir from the 2010 Smashbox Masquerade collection.
Back in 2010, Smashbox launched their Masquerade collection, and within that collection was the O-Gloss Noir, which applied as a black lip gloss but turned into your own shade of berry, depending on your lip’s natural pH level.
Fast forward to 2026, Smashbox has launched three new lip products using the pH technology of their original O-Gloss Noir;

- Smashbox O-Noir pH Gel Lip Liner $22
- Smashbox O-Gloss pH Lip Gloss $26
You can obviously use the products individually, or together to create a custom lip color which will appear between a raspberry to a blackberry shade.
Smashbox O-Noir pH Cheek + Lip Tint $25
This is a twist-up lip and cheek tint which looks black in the tube, but it adapts to your skin’s natural pH level, adjusting to your unique shade of berry once applied.
You can apply it onto bare lips, or layered over lip liner, and the color takes a few seconds to develop.
Smashbox O-Noir pH Gel Lip Liner $22
The lip liner has the same technology as the lip and cheek tint, transforming from black to a shade of berry.
It is described as having a smooth gel texture to glide onto the lips effortlessly, with a sheer and natural finish.
Smashbox O-Gloss pH Lip Gloss $26
The gloss is the last item in the new pH lip trio, and in the tube it’s a clear lip gloss, but it adapts to your skin’s pH level again, transforming from clear to your unique shade of pink.
