Estee Lauder always does an amazing job on the designs each year. There’s such a crazy amount of detail on each compact, and this year’s collection is no different.
There are six compact designs available this year, all of which are themed around the Grand Hotel, with three fragrance compacts and three mirror compacts, with all of the designs being designed by luxury jewelry designer and storyteller Monica Rich Kosann.

Estée Lauder A Tall Pour Beautiful Solid Perfume Compact
This compact features a solid perfume version of Estee Lauder Beautiful, and is designed to look like a giraffe in a red suit with a tray of gold champagne glasses.
The compact is stunning, with little crystals studded around the perimeter and little black crystals for the eyes of the giraffe.
Beautiful’s fragrance notes are;
- Top notes: Rose, Mandarin, Lily, Tuberose, Marigold
- Middle notes: Orange Flower, Muguet, Jasmine, Ylang-Ylang
- Base notes: Sandalwood, Vetiver, Amber
Estée Lauder Suite Retreat Mirror Compact
This is one of the compact mirror options within the collection, and it’s designed to look like a do not disturb sign in the Estee Lauder brand colors, and it is a dual-sided double-faceted mirror.
Estée Lauder Caviar Dreams Mirror Compact
This has to be my favorite mirror from the trio, and is designed to look like a can of caviar with the caviar key on the side.
Again, it is a dual-sided double-faceted mirror, and the design is just amazing and so fun.
Estée Lauder Wish You Were Here Mirror Compact
The third and final compact is this postcard style compact mirror, with an Estee Lauder logo for the stamp and the air mail stamp; it’s so cute.
I love the crystals on the clasp on the top of the ‘envelope’ and it is also a double-faceted mirror.
Estée Lauder Posh Porter Beautiful Magnolia Solid Perfume Compact
This is such a fun design for a solid perfume compact. It is a bell cart with stacked luxury luggage and a regal looking poodle wearing a top hat sitting on the bell cart.
There are crystals studded around the outside of the cart, and the compact opens from the base of the bell cart.
Inside this perfume compact, you’re getting Beautiful Magnolia Solid Perfume.
Beautiful Magnolia notes:
- Top notes: Magnolia Petals, Maté, Water Lotus
- Middle notes: Magnolia Oil, Solar Gardenia, Rose
- Base notes: Cedarwood, Sandalwood, Illumina Musk
Estée Lauder Midnight Cravings Pleasures Solid Perfume Compact
The final solid perfume compact features Pleasures Solid Perfume, and the design is a dessert cart with cakes and a stack of wrapped gifts.
There are little red crystals studded around the perimeter of one of the cakes, and this compact opens at the top of the dessert cart.

- Top notes: White Lily, Violet Leaves, Green Accents
- Middle notes: Black Lilac, White Peony, Karo-Karounde Blossoms, Baie Rose, Pink Rose, Jasmine
- Base notes: Sandalwood, Patchouli
