Their Mattifying Compact Powder is a product they’ve sold for at least five years, and it looks like this powder is a new and improved version of their bestselling powder, with a blurring effect, that the original powder didn’t have.
Essence Matte Blur Mattifying Compact Powder is a must-have to get an even, soft-matte look.
This pressed powder is designed to give your skin a beautiful soft-focus finish, making your pores appear blurred and making unwanted shine disappear.
It has a silky-soft texture, which, when applied, feels super light on the skin, mattifying where you need it without drying out your skin.
With this new and improved blurring formula of the Essence Matte Blur Mattifying Compact Powder, the packaging has been upgraded to an improved, break-resistant compact, so you can carry it around in your makeup bag without worrying about issues.
Essence Matte Blur Mattifying Compact Powder comes in six different shades;
- 10 – Lightest skin with a cool to neutral undertone.
- 20 – Fair skin with a warm to neutral undertone
- 30 – Fair to medium skin with a neutral undertone
- 40 – Medium skin with a warm undertone
- 50 – Medium to dark skin with a warm undertone
- 60 – Dark skin with a warm undertone
The original Essence Mattifying Compact Powder was available in five shades (Soft Beige, Perfect, Pastel, True Caramel and Toffee), so it doesn’t look like the shades were just carried over to this new formula.
We definitely needed a packaging upgrade. If you’ve ever owned the original powder, the lid would break off the hinge so easily, so it’s great that this new powder is not only a packaging upgrade, but a formula upgrade too.
