Grow A Garden has dropped their newest update, and it is themed around the King Of The Hill game that multiple Roblox games have introduced lately (like Survive Lava For Brainrot).
This newest event is called King Of The Seed, and it’s a PVP event, where we have to battle other players in our server, to try and win a random seed from the Seed Shop.
This is what the event display looks like when the King Of The Seed King Of The Hill event isn’t active. It’s a flat platform, with Sam standing in the middle.
When you talk to him, this is what he says:
- The king of the hill event happens every 20 minutes!
- It will last for 5 minutes
- Stand on the hill the longest to win!
- Smack people with your shovel to know them off
- Good luck!
When the event starts (every 15 minutes), a raised pyramid appears in the middle of the map, with four levels and flowers all over.
In the air, above the raised pyramid, there’s a countdown that tells you how long the King Of The Seed event has left, with a timer.
You have just 5 minutes for the event, and with the event, the aim is to stand on that pyramid for as long as you can, during the 5 minute event, and there is a timer above your head, to show you how long you’ve been “king of the hill”.
Even if you fall/jump off the pyramid, the timer stops and doesn’t reset, so you can just climb back up, and the timer will restart.
The player in the server with the longest amount of time for their King Of The Seed timer, at the end of the 5 minutes, will win a random seed from the Seed Shop.
You need to basically knock all other players from the pyramid, during the 5 minutes, so you are the one with the longest timer at the end of the 5 minutes.
When you’re on the platform for the longest time in the server, you’ll get a pop-up message at the end, to tell you which random seed you’ve won.
In this example, I won a Mango Seed.
You can use your Shovel to hit other players, when they’re standing on the pyramid, and if you do hit them, it makes them somersault in the air away from you. This allows you to stop their timer, and lets yours continue, so your timer runs longer than theirs, so you ultimately win that seed at the end.

Here, I won a Grape Seed. It appears you can win any seed that’s sold in the Seed Shop.
I’ve seen people in the official Grow A Garden Discord mention they’ve got some rarer seeds too, like the Burning Bud and Beanstalk, but I don’t know if you can get the Alien Apple seed from this event. It would be amazing if you could.
That is literally the end of the event. No new seeds. No pets. No mutations. Just “battling” with other players to win a random seed from the Seed Shop.
I am hoping SO much that next week we’ll have a better update, if Jandel and Jhailatte are back working on the game again. I’m crossing everything!
