The Grey Mouse is one of the most recent pet additions to Grow A Garden, and was only added to the game when the Blood Moon event update happened, on May 17th, with the launch of the new Mythical Egg. If you’d like to know all about the grey mouse, what it does, and why you should have it, keep on reading…

How To Get The Grey Mouse In Grow A Garden
The Grey Mouse is one of five pets you can get inside the new Mythical Egg.
Each of the Mythical Eggs are 3,000,000 sheckles, and you can get the following pets:
- Grey Mouse (grey and pink) 35.71%
- Brown Mouse (brown and pink) 26.79%
- Squirrel (brown) 26.79%
- Red Giant Ant (reddish brown) 8.93%
- Red Fox (ginger and white) 1.79%
Grey Mouse is the most common pet you can get inside the Mythical Eggs, and I love the mouse design.
It’s a blocky design with big ears. Inside the ears, there are pink squares, with a pink tail, and black whiskers.
I think the mouse is really cute, especially as there’s a brown mouse too, so together they look adorable.

Benefits Of Owning The Grow A Garden Grey Mouse
The Grey Mouse has a different benefit than most benefits, as the trait benefits you as a player, rather than improving or helping your garden.
When you equip the grey mouse, it will grant you an additional 10.25% increase in movement speed, so you can walk faster.
I wasn’t enamored by the benefit at first, but after trying it, it actually does make a noticeable difference.
I find it to be particularly helpful for when I’m going the Lunar Glow event, trying to run around collecting the moonlit fruit and bloodlit fruit to give to Wise Old Owl.

Many people won’t love the benefit, as they’d prefer something to help their garden, but it’s a nice benefit to have, especially if you want to mass harvest your garden with the new harvest tool.
All of the pets from the Mythical Egg have really good resale value too, so if you buy the Mythical Eggs to try and get a rarer pet, the mice do sell for a decent amount of sheckles, which is always a bonus.
